My Yamaha 48 volt charger seems to be overcharging my batteries. The abnormal charge led is lit after a few hours. I used another charger and everything charged as normal. Could it be the timer/circuit board? Please advise

Have an older model yamaha 48volt charger…left for two months and now it does not turn on when plugged in…is there a fuse on the charger
A lot of golf cart chargers look for a specific battery voltage before they recognize the batteries and start to charge. If the batteries are discharged below that voltage point (basically, the cart won’t move), it appears you have a charger problem, when in fact, you have a battery problem. If your cart won’t move, you have a problem, and need to rectify the battery problem, before concluding you have a charger problem.
